  5. INTRODUCTION

  7.     Welcome to the ultimate solar panel and battery sizing
  8.     program for Windows.  Given your load and location
  9.         characteristics, it will provide sizing information.
  10.         It includes winter peak sun hours and minimum winter
  11.         temperatures at major US cities.  You have the option
  12.         to manually enter this data if you wish or load alternate
  13.         city data files.

  15.     There are report print functions as well as data save
  16.     and recall functionality.  A full help function with
  17.     design hints is included.

  42. INSTALLATION
  43.  
  44.     Copy all the files except VBRUN200.DLL to the directory 
  45.         of your choice.  Copy VBRUN200.DLL to the Windows\System directory.
  46.         Place the program in your choice of program groups as you would any
  47.         windows application in the Program Manager.

  49. RUNNING
  50.  
  51.         This program is a full windows application, hence it will behave
  52.         just like any other windows application.  Use the mouse or Tab
  53.         key to move around, Enter Key or mouse button to select from
  54.         lists or push buttons.

  56. DOCUMENTATION
  57.  
  58.         The user documentation (USERDOC.TXT) is a standard text file.  Use
  59.         any text editor to read or print.  You can print it out with
  60.         the DOS command PRINT /D:PRN USERDOC.TXT.  You can also use
  61.         the Windows NotePad program.  The File is formatted for 60 lines
  62.         per page.
